CHBA National hosted a fantastic Net Zero Leadership Summit last week in Richmond, BC. Thanks for having me on a panel with a bunch of subject matter rock stars on how to make electrified MURBs work. Happy to be able to share some BC insights with a pan-Canadian crowd!

The first ever Vancouver Heat Pump Symposium is coming up fast - May 30 at the Vancouver Convention Centre! We are happy to support his event, hosted by HRAI, aiming to bring together everyone who is working with or in the Heat Pump space. Ever had a question about heat pumps (residential or commercial)? Don't know what the current incentive landscape looks like? Interested in why everyone is talking about Heat Pumps in the first place? This is your chance to connect with the sector - including our Minister of Energy, Mines and Low Carbon Innovation, Honorable Josie Osborne. Use our BC Hydro discount code BCHYDRO to get your ticket.

Big announcement today, a "generational opportunity" for those interested and invested in shaping our energy future. And I am personally so excited to see the full suite of renewable energy generation being supported (hello solar and wind energy, I missed seeing you!). BC Hydro launched their first call for power today in recognition of the needs for more generated capacity needed to support the decarbonization efforts and demands across BC. https://lnkd.in/g3bwfX25

"We are in the thick of it" - kicking off today's #buildexvancouver program with a discussion on the State of Building Electrification in BC. Lots of great questions and big challenges to address but there is an encouraging amount of movement and solutions out there to get the ball rolling. Thank you #B2E and team for bringing this topic to #buildexvancouver.

Thank you MCABC for the opportunity to work with you and host this interesting workshop on building commissioning and re-commissioning. There so much opportunity for energy efficiency and decarbonization activities as part of commissioning processes.

This is a pretty solid test case to provide some confidence that the all electric scenario won't leave the residents in colder clients hanging. Thanks Rod Nadeau for sharing these insights and leading the way!
