A: On the neck of the spray cap there's a button that says lock on one side and unlock on the other. This needs to be pushed across (as if pushing “into” the neck of the cap) to lock/unlock the spray trigger.
We recommend you to avoid using the heat protection sprays containing silicones and water-based polymers. These ingredients can weigh down your hair and leave residues that can cause further hair damage in the long run.
Heat protection sprays work, but they do not completely protect hair 100%. Even the heat protection products proven to provide the best results only provide 50% heat protection. Yes, you read that right. Only 50% heat protection.
THE BOTTOM LINE. Heat protectants help you reduce heat damage by evening out and slowing how hair heats up. They're only half the solution, however, and can't insulate hair completely, so practice safe styling and remember that there are ways to look cool (or hot) without heat!
