SHS Class Night & Graduation

Class Night for the Stoughton High Class of 2024 is Tuesday, June 4 at 6:30pm in the SHS Auditorium. All parents, guardians, and families are invited. Class Night is a celebration of the many senior accomplishments and includes awards and recognitions. The evening ends with a viewing of the Class of 2024 Video Yearbook production.

Graduation for the SHS Class of 2024 is Thursday, June 6 at 5:30pm. Graduation will be held either on the turf field (weather permitting) or in the gymnasium (if it is raining). Tickets are required if it is held indoors. A decision on location will be announced closer to the time of the event. Graduation is broadcast live on SMAC and also streamed live on the Stoughton Public Schools Facebook page.

SHS Sports Awards Night

Join the Stoughton High Athletics Department at the SHS Sports Awards Night this Monday, June 3 at 6:30pm in the SHS Auditorium. This will be a night to recognize this year's sports awards winners from the fall, winter, and spring seasons. The Athletics Department will be celebrating this year's team achievements, MVPs, sportsmanship award winners, scholar athlete award winners, Triple Crown award winners, and Hockomock League All-Stars and honorable mentions.

EarlyReleaseDay on Thursday

This Thursday, June 6 is anearlyreleaseday for the Stoughton Public Schools.

Here are the school hours forearlyreleasedays:
• SHS & OMS - 7:35am - 11:32am
• Elementary Schools - 8:30am - 12:20pm
• Preschool - 8:30am - 11:00am (No afternoon preschool session)

Lunch will still be served.

Black Knights Middle School Football Clinic

O'Donnell Middle School students in grades 6-8 can sign up for a two-day football clinic run by Stoughton High head football coach Christopher Evans. The clinic takes place Monday, June 10 and Tuesday, June 11 from 3-5pm on the turf field at Stoughton High. The clinic will include non-contact sport specific skill development and instruction, as well asvarious team building activities. Students must register by Thursday, June 6. The cost to participate is $20 with a portion of the proceeds going to the Gridiron Club Scholarship. Click here for more information and to register.

Elementary School Fine Arts Nights

The Wilkins School will be holding its spring fine arts night this Tuesday,June 4 from 5-6:30pm. In addition to a display of student artwork in grades K-5, the elementary school fine arts nights also feature performances from the 4th and 5th grade band and chorus. The South School and the Dawe School had their fine arts nights last week and the Gibbons School and Hansen School had their fine arts nights two weeks ago.

Stoughton High Theatre Program Fall Info Session

The Stoughton High Theatre Program is holding an info session on Wednesday, June 5 at 2:30pm in the Black Box Theater about its fall 2024 production of Hadestown (Teen Edition). No experience is necessary - all students entering grades 9-12 in the fall are welcome.

Bus Registration Period Now Open

Attention Stoughton Public Schools families looking for bus transportation for the 2024-2025 school year: The registration period for bus transportation for 2024-2025 is now open and runs through Friday, June 28, 2024. The registration form is available on the PowerSchool Parent Portal.Click here for more information and for instructions on how toregister. Registration for Next School Year (2024-2025)

Attention families with students entering preschool or kindergarten in September, or with a student entering grades 1-12 who did not attend the Stoughton Public Schools this school year: The Stoughton Public Schools online pre-registration portal for next school year (2024-2025 school year) is now open.Please visit our Central Registration Office website for more information about the pre-registration process.
